Speaking of Handsome Husbands

It really doesn’t get much better than this   My husband of almost 16 years.

Back from the Vet

A few hours ago I got home from the vet and only spent 439.00 on my cat. What for you may wonder…

Well, my cat is almost 15 and for the last few months I have noticed him losing weight. So I took him in and the vet had to do x-rays, blood work, and stool analyzing. Turns out my baby was royally constipated and they had to flush him out. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t a pleasant sight.

And of course, when I went to pick him up a few hours later the vet assistant told me that he had been throwing a hissy fit. (Get it…”hissy” fit) My cat rarely hisses, unless it’s to walk by the dogs and let them know that he is the boss.

Plus I also was given some liquid vitamin thing to give to the cat and now he’s resting here at home.

And my vet, well, let’s just say he’s raking in the bucks. But he’s a great vet and has been my vet for almost 18 years.

Monday I shall find out if the blood work shows anything abnormal…and the vet also said his kidneys didn’t look good either. My poor baby.

At LAST…A New Earth Homework

Okay, it’s been quite some time since I updated this blog because for some unknown reason to me, I couldn’t figure out how to get back into WordPress, until last night.

So…thanks for the patience and comments new buddies and pals.

First, let me share with you about A New Earth and where we are with that. I have been a little annoyed because one of Oprah’s people did email me about doing a discussion, only to apparently “take it back” and never respond to my affirming email. The only thing I can figure is that they must have actually read my blog this time and realized that I was exposing the false teachings of Eckhart Tolle. And for the life of me, I cannot understand why so many people think this mans writing is good. I think it’s weird, to be honest with you….and my husband thinks it’s drug induced.

Anyway, as I have forced myself to sit through some of Oprah’s classes I have to tell you that I HAD to take a break from all this gobblygooky talk because it was nauseating to me. As some of you know, I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, so I’ve been educated about the mind, and so to hear Eckhart talk about the “egoist” and “ego” the way he is spinning it is rather annoying. And lest some of you Oprah worshippers think I’m attacking her or Tolle, I’m not. It’s the hellish ideas that I don’t like.

I honestly think that Oprah is seriously deceived and because she is a sinner who apparently has not repented of her sin, she has not the eyes to see the truth. But the scary thing is that she is taking millions of other blinded people with her on the path to eternal destruction.

So…all that to say that I’m working on finishing my review and also watching the webcasts that Oprah has done.

Please pray for Oprah and all of those who are believing this new age teaching. Thanks friends.
